Impressionists on view for two more weeks in the Hermitage

The exhibition Impressionism: Sensation & Inspiration in the Hermitage Amsterdam will be extended for two weeks through 27 January 2013.

On 9 March 2013, a major exhibition devoted to Peter the Great will open in the Hermitage Amsterdam. This exhibition, which marks the start of a special year of Dutch-Russian relations in 2013, paints a picture of this unconventional, inspired and inquisitive Russian tsar, who by the time he took power at the age of 17 was determined to transform his country.

From 29 September 2012 until 25 April 2013, during its temporary stay in the Hermitage Amsterdam, the Van Gogh Museum will present Vincent. The Van Gogh Museum in the Hermitage Amsterdam, showing works by Vincent van Gogh (1853–1890) from its permanent collection in an entirely new way.
