Sunday 17 november 2019
2 PM in the Church Hall

Chamber choir Oktoich, principally dedicated to Russian Orthodox vocal music, will this time bring a programme with chants from the twentieth century.

Composers of a post-War generation who developed a completely personal musical idiom, the likes of Tavener and Schnittke. And living composers such as Moody and Martynov.A special feat of this concert is that the choir is accompanied by the Estonian cellist Allar Kaasik.
