Vocal Jewels - Moderato Cantabile

Sunday 8 March 2020
2 PM in the Church Hall

The Groningen chamber choir Moderato Cantabile, conducted by Nana Tchikhinashvili, will give a very varied a capella concert with a title that suits the exhibition: Vocal Jewels. The audience will be swept away by choir sounds from different parts of the world and in various styles, including some compositions by the conductor herself. The listener might recognise choral works by Rachmaninov, Barber and Arvo Pärt, but some quite unfamiliar compositions will be performed too. The choir consists of 28 members on average, all with broad singing and choral experience. moderatocantabile.nl
