Historical Building
The seventeenth-century building of H'ART Museum – a National Monument – is a gem in the city centre of Amsterdam. Since 1683, the building served as a care home and now it showcases beautiful art collections.
Central Location
H'ART Museum is situated in the vibrant heart of Amsterdam with a stunning view of the Amstel River. It is easily accessible from Schiphol Airport within 30 minutes. Additionally, there is ample parking within walking distance, and the Waterlooplein metro station is less than a 5-minute walk away. Prefer arriving by boat? Mooring at our doorstep is possible!

Museum possibilities
H'ART Museum is more than just an event venue. Enhance your event with a guided tour of the exhibition (changing every six months), a drawing or painting workshop, or an activity in the inner courtyard. Would you like a brief introduction to H'ART Museum during your gathering? Our management is delighted to welcome your guests with a personal address.
Sustainable museum
Since 2016, H'ART Museum has been sharing surplus heat and cold with the Hortus Botanicus (project Tussen Kunst en Kas). Additionally, there are solar panels on the roof and we aim to replace the current glazing with better insulating monument glass or HR glass. Moreover, H'ART Museum participates in BREEAM-NL In-Use, where participating museums actively work on sustainability initiatives.
