Summer jazz festival in the Hortus Botanicus and Hermitage Amsterdam

This summer, visitors can once again enjoy a series of jazz concerts in the inviting courtyard-garden at the Hermitage Amsterdam and on the terrace of the Hortus Botanicus. Jazz at the Plantage is an annual jazz festival that is organised in collaboration with the Amsterdam Conservatorium. Showcasing young up-and-coming talent.

Every Saturday afternoon during the summer months of July and August there are concerts in the courtyard-garden at the Hermitage. On Sunday the jazz melodies will play on the terrace at the Hortus café.

Hermitage Amsterdam: Cool jazz melodies and warm summer evenings

The series begins on Saturday 7 July with the dynamic musicians of the Laurie Carpenter Quintet, followed by quirky  singer Fuensanta Méndez from Mexico on Saturday 14 July. The jazz trio Laura & Strings, the adventurous IKODO, the creative spirits of the LM Project and the Anna Serierse Quartet, who are inspired by Ella Fitzgerald, are all on the programme.
