Bags policy
It is not permitted to take backpacks, handbags, umbrellas, baby back carriers, or prams (with the exception of buggies) into the exhibition, nor is it permitted to take large objects into the exhibition. Visitors must hand in all bags, umbrellas, baby back carriers, prams (with the exception of buggies), and other items to the cloakroom, or store them in one of our lockers. The Hermitage Amsterdam does not accept any responsibility for damage to and/or the loss of goods which visitors hand in for storage.

Photographs
Taking photos (without flash) in the museum is permitted, for private use. Selfie sticks and tripods are not permitted inside the building. On our website you will find pictures of the building and of several highlights of the exhibition. Postcards of various art works are on sale in our museum shops.
Museum Card
You can obtain a
Museum Card from the Hermitage Amsterdam ticket desk and start using it
straight away. For more information about the Museum Card, including terms and
conditions, please visit museumvereniging.nl/Contact/English. Limited availability!
Become a Friend
Everyone needs friends and we’re no different, which is why we are inviting you
to become a Friend. That way, you can support the
museum and the many activities that take place here on the banks of the Amstel
river. As a friend of the museum, you will also be supporting the Hermitage for
Children.

Courtyard patio
Enjoy a nice cup of tea or coffee with
something sweet before, during, or after your visit to the exhibition. Our patio
is only open in good weather. It is open to everyone, which means you are
welcome to visit us even if you do not have an entrance ticket for the
exhibition!

74 88. The restaurant is open all week from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The Museum Shop is open daily from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Dogs and other pets are not allowed into the Hermitage Amsterdam. Care
dogs are exempt from this rule. If you have any questions or wish to contact
