The Hermitage Amsterdam is temporary closed
Due to the tightened corona measures on Tuesday, January 12, all museums must close to the public for a couple of weeks. Also the Hermitage Amsterdam. We are very sorry that we cannot welcome you, but hope to be able to open the doors again on or around Tuesday February 9, 2021. At the moment it is temporarily not possible to buy tickets. Keep an eye on our website for more information on when ticket sales can start again.

Face mask obligation As of December 1, 2020, the Dutch government has made it a legal requirement to wear a face mask in public indoor spaces such as museums. This is also the case in the Hermitage Amsterdam. By accepting the Terms and Conditions of the Hermitage Amsterdam you agree to this obligation. Outsider Art Gallery and Artotheek
Admission to the Outsider Art Gallery and the Artotheek is free of charge.
You can make your visit to the Hermitage Amsterdam as varied as you like. You can choose to visit one of the three big exhibitions or combine two or three. Then you can take the historic route, passing by the period rooms and the church hall, which has a phenomenal view of the Amstel river.
Take a break and enjoy a drink and a bite to eat at the To-Go-bar in de foyer, or take part in one of the activities on offer. To find out more, take a look at one of the screens in the building. And don’t forget to visit the Museum Shop, which Parool newspaper voted the best museum shop in Amsterdam in 2015!
